Are you interested in working with us?

We are on the look out for unique songs and sounds, as well as established styles from artists that want to see their music used in TV, Film and Advertising.

Please get in touch with us via the form below. We do not accept attachments, please only send links to anything you’d like us to see or hear. If we are interested in your music, we will get back in touch via the email address you provide.

Please note:

We can not use songs that have licensed bed or backing tracks. In other words if you have licensed a track from another producer and added a top line or lyric, we are not able to work with those types of tracks.

No AI:

We also reject all AI produced tracks, please do not send us AI generated anything. In our opinion that is not music to our ears.

Thanks

What Makes a Good Sync Song?

Glad you asked, because it's something I often ask myself.

The truth is that ANY song can find a place in the Sync Universe to settle down and raise a family. Especially if you have eternity to wait, or you are into gambling.

Lets stack the odds in our favor then.

Strong Hooks, Universal Themes.

I often hear songs that SOUND great, but there is no clear reason for the song to exist.  What is the Headline of the song?  What grabs the listener and says “This is what you need to understand, this is my message”

That is why I’m always looking for a Strong Hook.  Strong Hooks are undeniable, I can pitch them all day. I know where they want to go, they are unambiguous.

Success

Recently we were able to place a song by Rachel Baimen into Margot's Got Money Troubles on the Apple Network.  The name of the Song?  Bad Debt... go figure.

Do you think the supervisor is going to “Skip That Title”?  (In the vocal style of Family Guy)  “”No”

Here's the Hook

Now I’ve got

bad debt, that I can’t make good

Bad debt, just like I knew that I would

Bad debt, it won’t let me be

This debt is my prison, and I’ll never be free

What great writing. That last line kills. Read it again.

This song also ticks the Universal Themes Box.  Why?

Everyone has some idea about debt. It's a universally experienced concept.

Some say love is a universal theme.  Yes it is, but I’d put it to you that if you want to better your odds you’ll steer clear of the standard love song concepts. The love song is a “Red Ocean”, too many fish and too many sharks all swimming over each other to get to the prize.  Better off to try another theme and be in a smaller more select crowd.

What lesser explored themes can you think of that always get used in TV, film, and advertising?

Good luck with the search, may you write a great hook!
