Our Company

Real Songs with Real Artists

By 2019, Artec Sound Vision Productions was working closely with the musicians and writers in the Nashville community, and had built a strong catalog of songs . It was time to separate the sync side of the business into a new sync focused arm, and showcase these writers and their songs to the world.

Artec Sync was formed.

How do we work?

We spend many hours writing songs. Some songs are written in 3 hours or less, just falling onto the page, others may take 3 - 4 sessions to get a first draft. We don’t move forward in production until we believe the song is ready

Once a song is selected for production, the rough is made to iron out the structure, transitions and style. Musicians are then booked and recorded in our studio. Vocals are recorded and comped. Some songs we write require a different artist to deliver the message, this is when we bring in another artist to sing the vocal. Once we feel we have the essence we mix the project until the artist and ourselves are happy. This process can take as many as 20 - 40 hours to complete for one song.

Real Songs with Real Artists.

On the licensing side, the music and songs we license from artists are all chosen for their ability to stand out and deliver a response from the listener, to work with picture, and be compliant for copyrights. We only take the stand outs.

We are a growing company, adding new artists and new songs every month.

From song start to song sync.

Meet Our Team

Pal Sheldon

I’m a songwriter first. It’s where it all starts for me. A good song lyric will always get me interested. My role at Artec Sync is two fold. Find great songs and connect them with the right picture, simple right? :)

I grew up in Newcastle Australia, a town known for pub rock. Remember Silver Chair? They come from my town. An old steel town with great wine country toward the west. You can read more of my history on the history page.

I’m a serial entrepreneur. The future awaits us all.

My life has always had a soundtrack.  It started as my grandmother’s Chieftains cassettes (which I sang along to in extremely incorrect Irish), evolved into the *Nsync CDs that my friends and I would choreograph dances to, and eventually matured into Motzart and Ella Fitzgerald as I began studying voice and playing jazz around my small town.  As a young adult, I studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music with a minor in audio electronics and began to create my own soundtrack.

After graduating, I moved to Nashville, TN, and explored all the music industry had to offer, from touring as an artist to singing backup vocals to assistant engineering to serving as a church music coordinator.  I’ve enjoyed every role I’ve filled over the years, but my happy place is publishing.  Not only do I get to spend much of my day listening to and analyzing music, I get to help connect songs to the people who need to hear them.

After ten years in Music City, I’ve moved back home to Beverly, MA, where I continue to work with music and dive deeper into my other passion: visual art.  When I’m not researching soundtracks and inputting metadata, you can find me creating album art for other musicians, painting portraits of my pets, and slowly plugging away at my graphic novel project.
