Who is Ponzi?
Raised in the Northern Territory town of Katherine and now based in Perth, Tom Fawkner AKA Ponzi is a vocalist and multi-instrumental producer who is set on a path to take his dreamy electronic-pop tunes far and wide. As a boy in Katherine Ponzi’s young life was soundtracked by his parents’ love of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, and when his mother bought him a drum kit at the age of eight, he became hooked on playing music. Looking to pursue more musical opportunities, Ponzi moved to Perth. Once settled in the big smoke, Fawkner found new inspiration with newer influences such as Charlie XCX and Ecco2K coming into the mix.
